Seasonic reportedly working on 1000W PRIME Fanless TX power supply
Seasonic is said to be preparing a 1000W fanless desktop power supply, according to a report from FanlessTech. The unit is described as a new member of the PRIME Fanless TX family with an 80 PLUS Titanium rating, targeting up to 94% efficiency at 50% load, just like the existing models.
Today the PRIME Fanless TX line tops out at 600W and 700W. These PSUs are fully modular ATX units, built for complete passive operation and rated 80 PLUS Titanium with 94% efficiency at half load. They ship with a 12-year warranty and standard ATX 12V cabling, which already makes them some of the most advanced “true fanless” desktop units on the market. A 1000W variant would extend that design to dual-GPU workstations or high-end single-GPU systems that need more headroom.

A 1000 W PRIME Fanless TX would also move Seasonic into direct competition with Cooler Master’s X Silent Edge series , which currently defines the high end of fanless ATX power for gaming PCs. Cooler Master offers 850 W and 1100W fanless X Silent Edge Platinum models, both ATX 3.1 units with native 12V-2×6 GPU power, with the 1100W 230 V version holding the current output record for a fanless ATX PSU.
Seasonic has not yet listed the 1000W fanless model on its own site, and there are no confirmed details on ATX 3.x support, connector layout, or launch timing.
