The photographs show a development system running on Intel's internal reference board, featuring a ten-core processor sample from what we assume is the Core Ultra 3 family paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory. These qualification units, marked as early A0-stepping silicon, confirm Intel continues to target a public launch around CES 2026 and Q1 2026 release, while offering rare insight into how the chipmaker refines its architectures before production begins.
The CPU features a hybrid design with two high-performance cores, four standard efficiency cores, and four additional low-power efficiency cores, creating a 2P+4E+4LPE configuration. This CPU tile is connected to four Xe3 graphics cores. The board is equipped with four 4 GB SK Hynix LPDDR5X modules, which operate at 7,467 MT/s, slightly below the memory support targets of Panther Lake. Testing shows clock speeds of approximately 3.0 GHz for the base frequency and 3.2 GHz for the boost frequency. The multi-tile die assembly is mounted on a BGA substrate and includes an internal device identifier, indicating its use in Intel's qualification labs rather than as a retail product.
