Chromebook users get exclusive GeForce NOW “Fast Pass” cloud gaming tier

Google has launched a new GeForce NOW “Fast Pass” tier built only for Chromebook users, created in partnership with NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform. In Google’s words:
“The GeForce NOW Fast Pass has no ads and allows you to skip the queue to get into your games.”
Fast Pass streams games at up to 1080p and 60 FPS and ties into existing PC game libraries. Chromebook owners can play supported titles they already own on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox and other stores, without buying them again. The catalog covers more than 2,000 PC games, running on remote GeForce RTX servers rather than local Chromebook hardware.
The plan includes 10 hours of cloud gaming per month , with up to 5 unused hours rolling over to the next month. There are no ads and no waiting queues, but Fast Pass does not include higher-end perks from NVIDIA’s paid Performance and Ultimate tiers, such as higher resolutions or frame rates.
Starting November 20, anyone who buys a new Chromebook gets one year of GeForce NOW Fast Pass at no extra cost. Google and NVIDIA have not yet announced pricing for Fast Pass when purchased as a standalone subscription, outside the Chromebook promotion.
