Intel lists Arrow Lake Refresh

Here’s to one of our exclusive leaks finding confirmation. Intel has not only listed the S Refresh series on its website, albeit without SKU names, but the company has also confirmed 7200 MT/s memory support , as we revealed two weeks ago.
Intel has confirmed that S Refresh will support CUDIMM memory up to 7200 MT/s. The current series supports 6400 MT/s speed out of the box, but of course that’s just the official spec. Enthusiasts have no issue running these CPUs with much faster memory, often exceeding 8000 MT/s, depending on the setup. However, Intel’s spec basically refers to stock CPU support, with no overclocking involved. This is the top speed defined by the JEDEC JESD323 spec right now.

Unfortunately, at least on paper, Core Ultra 200K Plus series is nothing to brag about. It’s a minor spec bump, especially for the flagship Core Ultra 9 285K to 290K Plus SKU, which is basically getting a 100–200 MHz frequency boost. Things look a lot better for Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and 250K Plus, both are getting higher core counts than current SKUs (by adding 4 E-cores).
Sources aren’t sure about the release date, but everything points towards a CES 2026 announcement and availability somewhere in Q1 2026. These SKUs will compete with AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series, especially the X3D series, which are the preferred choice among gamers. Intel’s CPUs probably don’t have much in store that would compete with these SKUs until at least late 2026, so not until around the time Nova Lake-S is about to launch.
It is worth remembering that the 200K Plus series will serve as the last major update for the LGA-1851 socket, as new series already move to a newer socket.
