China-exclusive RTX 6000D workstation card with GB202 GPU has cut-down spec

A new RTX 6000D workstation card has appeared in Geekbench, pointing to a special Blackwell-based SKU that mirrors NVIDIA’s gaming “D” models such as RTX 4090D and RTX 5090D, but for the professional segment. The letter D again suggests a variant aimed at the Chinese market, this time in the RTX PRO 6000 family.
The benchmark entry lists 156 compute units, which in this case means 156 Streaming Multiprocessors. With 128 CUDA cores per SM, that adds up to 19,968 CUDA cores. The standard RTX PRO 6000 uses the full 188 SM configuration for 24,064 CUDA cores, so the 6000D is a cut-down version of the same GB202 GPU.
The leak also points to a downgrade in memory. RTX PRO 6000 is configured with 96 GB of 28 Gbps GDDR7 on a 512-bit bus, which gives 1,792 GB/s of memory bandwidth. RTX 6000D steps down to 84 GB on a 448-bit bus, which at the same 28 Gbps speed works out to 1,568 GB/s . This aligns with a layout that keeps 3GB GDDR7 modules but uses fewer of them and disables two memory channels.

This Geekbench entry is the first time we see the RTX 6000D name in a public database. One thing I would like to point out is that this version apparently does not use RTX PRO branding, just RTX, which is unusual, but would match last-gen workstation series naming (PRO was added with Blackwell series).
