First motherboard for Granite Rapids Xeon 6 workstation series
HEDT ‘at home’.

ADLINK has quietly posted the ISB-W890, a CEB server (slightly wider than ATX) board built for 6th Gen Intel Xeon “Granite Rapids” workstation CPUs and the new W890 chipset.
The product page lists the board as “Preliminary,” but the specs line up with recent W890 platform leaks, including Socket E2 (LGA-4710) support and workstation-class Granite Rapids chips with up to 350W TDP . This appears to be the first publicly listed W890 motherboard from a vendor, even though Intel has not yet introduced the platform.

The ISB-W890 uses a 12″ x 10.5″ CEB layout and offers a single Granite Rapids workstation CPU, four DDR5 memory channels, and eight RDIMM slots with speeds up to 6400 MT/s and up to 1 TB capacity with 128 GB modules. ADLINK confirms OC supports on this board.
The board exposes seven PCIe slots with PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 support and is wired to handle both “Expert” 128-lane and “Mainstream” 80-lane Granite Rapids SKUs.

The datasheet also carries a full platform block diagram that shows the W890 PCH, DMI 4.0 x8 link, PCIe lane routing, SlimSAS, SATA, USB, and BMC connections, which matches the W890 diagram that circulated on social media and in recent reports.
Worth adding that Intel has not yet confirmed the workstation series, nor did the company hint at a possible launch anytime soon. The expectation is that it may arrive at CES 2026.
