MSI GeForce RTX 5070 SHADOW 2X OC drops to $479, $70 under NVIDIA MSRP

NVIDIA RTX 5070 drops $70 below MSRP

Better late than never.

MSI’s GeForce RTX 5070 12G SHADOW 2X OC has hit a new low at Newegg, where the card is currently listed for $499.99 and drops to $479.99 after a $20 prepaid rebate card from MSI. The rebate promo runs through November 30 and is limited to one claim per household, while the card itself is sold and shipped directly by Newegg.

This is the dual-fan SHADOW 2X OC variant, not a base model. It comes with a 2542 MHz boost clock out of the box, 12GB of 28 Gbps GDDR7 memory on a 192-bit bus, and a 250 W TDP fed by a single 16-pin power connector. The card also qualifies as an SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce design.

We saw RTX 5070 cards dropping to $489 only two weeks ago, but those offers did not dip this far below the $549 US MSRP for an overclocked model. With the current Newegg promotion, this SHADOW 2X OC is now $70 under list after rebate, which makes it one of the cheapest factory-overclocked RTX 5070 options in the US right now, at least while the rebate window is still open.
