ASUS schedules AI laptop launch at CES 2026, 18 hours after Intel event

ASUS has confirmed a dedicated CES 2026 launch focused on AI laptops under the theme “Ubiquitous AI. Incredible Possibilities.” The online event takes place on January 6 at 9:00 a.m. PST, with parallel times of 6:00 p.m. in Berlin and 1:00 a.m. on January 7 in Taipei. ASUS used the same slogan for its CES 2025 show, which centered on Copilot+ PC designs that were a major talking point during that event, even if interest cooled down later in the year.
Intel is (now officially) expected to introduce its Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake” processors at CES, including the Core Ultra 300H laptop lineup. Intel’s launch livestream is set for January 5 at 3:00 p.m. PST, which puts it 18 hours ahead of the ASUS show. Both companies describe their broadcasts as launch events rather than simple previews, suggesting that Core Ultra 300H laptops could reach the market soon after CES.

ASUS says its CES program will highlight new AI PCs and related hardware built around this “Ubiquitous AI” vision. The company frames these systems as tools for office workloads, creative projects, and home use, with more details reserved for the livestream and show floor.
It’s worth noting that ASUS usually has a separate event for ROG gaming laptops, but as far as we can tell, this hasn’t been announced yet.
For those attending CES 2026 in person, the ASUS booth will be located at the Venetian Expo, Level 3, San Polo 3403. It will be open on January 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST, then January 6 to 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CES itself is a trade-only event for registered visitors aged 18 and over, so the general public will need to watch online.
