AMD to raise Ryzen 9000 and older CPU prices tonight, Radeon GPU hikes still unconfirmed

Overclock3D reports that AMD has notified partners of new CPU price increases that apply to the Ryzen 9000 series and older Ryzen processors, with the new pricing taking effect at midnight. The change targets CPUs only and is separate from earlier reports about possible Radeon GPU price moves.
OC3D has confirmed, via industry sources, that AMD has informed its partners of a new price increase for its products.

The site adds that the increases are not tied to memory pricing and do not stem from the recent rumors of GPU hikes. Exact adjustments will vary by SKU and region, and AMD has not provided a public explanation, leaving only speculation about factors such as wafer and manufacturing costs.
The timing follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts and lines up with what partners can present as a return to standard pricing rather than a fresh promotion ending. With DDR5 prices already climbing, a CPU move on top makes new system builds and platform upgrades more expensive than just a few weeks ago.
On the GPU side, AMD has not confirmed any new Radeon price list yet, but board partners are already preparing customers for higher costs next year. As we recall, a PowerColor representative recently told buyers on Reddit that GPU prices are expected to rise after the holiday period and advised anyone planning to upgrade to use current deals before those increases hit.
For now, though, Overclock3D’s report covers confirmed changes only for Ryzen 9000 and older CPUs, while Radeon GPU hikes remain in the rumor and partner-warning stage. We’re definitely starting to see a pattern, though, and that seems worrying.
