Intel W880 motherboard with up to four Ethernet ports
MSI IPC has introduced the MS-CF20 V2.0 , an ATX industrial motherboard built around Intel’s 15th Gen Arrow Lake-S processors and the Intel W880 chipset. The board supports Core Ultra U9, U7, U5, Pentium and Celeron CPUs and offers four DDR5 UDIMM slots for ECC or non-ECC memory, up to 5600 MT/s and 256 GB capacity.

The platform is aimed at connected industrial systems with four 2.5 GbE RJ-45 LAN ports on the higher spec version, plus a dense I/O block that includes up to ten COM ports, GPIO, PS/2 and audio. Storage options cover two M.2 M-Key slots and four SATA 3.0 ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10. For management and monitoring, the MS-CF20 V2.0 supports SMBus, I2C, PMBus, Intel AMT 19.x, chassis intrusion detection and multiple system fan headers.

Expansion is handled by one PCIe x16 Gen 5 slot that can be split into two PCIe x8 Gen 5 slots, plus five PCIe x4 Gen 4 slots for add-in cards such as frame grabbers, motion controllers or accelerator cards.
The MS-CF20 V2.0 will be offered in two models, listed by MSI as SKU1 and SKU2, which differ in LAN and serial port counts but share the same core design. MSI targets use cases such as industrial automation, machine control, edge computing and AI inference, network gateways and HMI systems that still rely on serial ports and legacy peripherals but need current generation CPU and memory performance.

MSI has not yet disclosed pricing or release timing for either model of the MS-CF20 V2.0.
