ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the Azoth 96 HE, the latest addition to the ROG Azoth gaming keyboard series. The Azoth 96 HE boasts a load of upgrades over other series offerings, including ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches, a new 96% layout for versatility, and up to 8000 Hz polling rate. It also features a 1.47-inch full-color touchscreen and a three-way knob for onboard adjustment of actuation points and other settings.

The Azoth 96 HE is an enthusiast-grade custom keyboard with top-tier gaming potential. Instead of ROG NX switches found on other models in the series, it features ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches. Actuation point can be customized from 0.1-3.5 mm, with precise 0.01 mm-step tuning for refined keystrokes. The Azoth 96 HE also features the ROG Hall sensor, which offers high-precision 0.01 mm keystroke detection, greater magnetic flux tolerance for smoother and more reliable input, plus improved power efficiency. Each keyboard undergoes a multi-stage calibration process during production where the travel distance of each key precisely logged. This data feeds into the algorithm for enhanced control, delivering consistently accurate (with minimal tolerance) and ultra-responsive Rapid Trigger performance.
