Cooler Master COSMOS ALPHA adds case-wide GPU support for 400 mm cards

Cooler Master Alpha ready for very large (and heavy) GPUs

Cooler Master is preparing a new COSMOS flagship, the COSMOS ALPHA, and one of its key changes targets modern oversized graphics cards. The full-tower chassis integrates a GPU support bracket that spans the entire width of the case and is rated for cards up to 400 mm in length.

Based on the “COSMOS 2025” prototype shown at COMPUTEX 2025, the COSMOS ALPHA keeps the large-format design of previous COSMOS cases but updates the platform for current hardware. The chassis uses a modular internal layout built around Cooler Master’s “FreeForm 2.0” approach, giving users more control over component placement, airflow paths, and even system orientation. There is clearance for large radiators, multiple fans, and long GPUs, along with space for high-wattage power supplies.

For airflow, Cooler Master is offering selectable front panel materials, including a “metal sponge” option that is claimed to outperform traditional mesh in both airflow and cleaning ease. Inside, adjustable baffles help direct air where it is needed, while support for hidden or back-connect motherboards should help with cleaner cable routing and tidier builds. The exterior is finished with a curved aluminium frame and tempered glass side panels, while the updated I/O panel brings modern front connectivity.

Pricing is not yet official, but an early retail listing in India puts the COSMOS ALPHA at roughly $390. Cooler Master briefly published a product page for the case before removing it, suggesting that a full launch is close.
