Thermalright Intros Peerless Assassin 120 Vision Max CPU Coolers

Thermalright today introduced the Peerless Assassin 120 Vision Max, a premium variant of its Peerless Assassin 120 dual fin-stack (type-D) CPU coolers featuring a true-color display along the top-plate. The cooler comes in two color trims—black and white. With both its included 120 mm fans installed, the cooler measures 135 mm x 125 mm x 164 mm (DxWxH), the company didn't reveal weight. The cooler's design involves a C1100 nickel-plated copper base, from which six 6 mm-thick heat pipes pass, with their ends skewing the two aluminium fin stacks. Among the two included fans, one pushes fresh air into the first fin-stack, while the second one, located between the two fin-stacks, conveys air onto the second fin-stack.

The top-plate of the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Vision Max spans both the fin-stacks, and the space between them. It features a 5-inch true-color display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The display connects to the motherboard over a standard 9-pin USB 2.0 header. It can be programmed to display just about anything, including real-time system monitoring. Each of the two included Thermalright TL-K12 series fans comes with fluid dynamic bearings, takes in 4-pin PWM input, and turns at speeds of up to 2150 RPM, pushing up to 69 CFM of airflow at 2.87 mm H₂O static pressure, with 27 dBA maximum noise output. The company didn't reveal pricing.
