The iPhone’s ChatGPT App Hints At A Potential Apple Health Integration, Possibly With iOS 27

We already know that Apple is planning a major revamp of its Health app next year with the iOS 27 . Now, however, an image hidden within the ChatGPT app for iPhones is strongly hinting of a possible tie-up between the two disparate services.

The X user Aaron Perris recently uncovered a hidden Apple Health icon within the latest version of the ChatGPT app for iPhones.

What's more, the icon's filename strongly hints of a possible integration between Apple Health and ChatGPT, which would allow the latter to leverage the former's data to provide personalized insights and answers to health-related queries.

Do note that you can already connect your ChatGPT app to Peloton's services via the "Apps & connectors" section. It appears that OpenAI is working on a similar integration with the Apple Health app.

Meanwhile, as we noted recently, Apple is not expected to launch many flashy features with the next year's iOS 27 update.

However, the Cupertino giant is working to introduce a major revamp of its Health app with the iOS 27 update, seeking to offer personalized, AI-powered health coaching, with a curated list of helpful videos from health experts to explain various health conditions and offer guidance on lifestyle improvements. The service will also offer a nutrition tracking feature.

If ChatGPT does end up integrating the Apple Health app, the tie-up will most likely go live with the iOS 27 update, alongside the service's revamped functionality.
