MCHOSE has launched updated G3 wireless gaming mouse models, in standard and Pro flavors. The original variants arrived over a year ago; infamously borrowing many external elements from Logitech's aging G305 device. This egg-shaped peripheral remains a fan favorite, despite its continuous deployment of ancient internal components and technologies—TechPowerUp's former mouse reviewer, Vanir, deemed the G305 worthy of a "Highly Recommended" medal. Since 2018, a couple of mainstream manufacturers have released "in the ballpark" small-to-medium alternatives—including the Razer Orochi V2, Fantech Aria, and Corsair Katar. Taking a very direct/brazen approach, the MCHOSE team spotted a gap in the market, and pushed out a thoroughly modernized interpretation of Logitech's budget-friendly wireless accessory.

The Chinese company's latest flagship utilizes PixArt's popular PAW3395 optical sensor. The non-Pro V2 model makes do with the lesser PAW 3311 package. MCHOSE's design team has adjusted parts of the new generation's exterior; falling in line with aesthetics present on newer G and L-series models. Small refinements do not disguise the G3's origins—its overall shape is distinctly G305. The borrowing of well-known Western IPs is a bit of gray area; earlier this year we noted a similar case. KYSONA, another Chinese brand, launched a modern rendition of Roccat's classic Kone Pure . Logitech leadership has likely kept track of various clones, mainly unashamed copies of the omnipresent G PRO series.
