One of my favorite recent accessory launches is Elevation Lab’s , which promises to extend AirTag battery life to 10 years. And today, the company has , which offers 5 years of AirTag battery in a much more compact form factor.

One of my least favorite things about Apple’s AirTag is the battery life.

To be fair, a year of battery life is nothing to complain about. But if you have a bunch of AirTags, all in different places and with batteries expiring at different times, low battery notifications can be a far-too-regular annoyance.

That’s why I was thrilled last year when the first TimeCapsule product arrived, promising 10 years of AirTag battery life.

The main downside of the first TimeCapsule is its bulk. It’s a great product, but it’s not the best fit for certain AirTag use cases where space is limited.

But today, a more compact model has arrived, promising 5+ years of battery life—“Over 5x more battery capacity than AirTag’s CR2032 coin cell.”

The new runs on two AAA batteries. Elevation Lab recommends using .

The way it works is simple: just place an AirTag inside, add AAA batteries, and you won’t have to worry about battery life for a very long time.

Some nice details include the case being waterproof, and offering no indication it’s housing an AirTag.
