GPD Win 5 with 128GB memory now available

GPD has quietly added its top GPD WIN 5 configuration with 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory and a 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD to the official GPD Store. The flagship SKU pairs the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Strix Halo APU with Radeon 8060S graphics. This configuration is offered as a pre-order with restock and shipping listed for December 29, 2025.
The 128GB option builds on GPD’s unified memory design, with up to 128GB LPDDR5X-8000 shared between CPU, GPU and NPU, and up to 96GB reservable as video memory for games or content creation workloads. As we recall, it sits behind a 7-inch 1920×1080 display running at 120Hz with FreeSync support, and uses the familiar external 80Wh hot-swappable battery pack that has defined the WIN 5 power system so far.The 128GB / 4TB unit is currently available in Pearl White, matching the “Panda” colourway GPD has teased for this generation.

Pricing is now split between the GPD Store and the ongoing crowdfunding campaign. On Indiegogo, the same 128GB / 4TB configuration is listed at 2,653 USD, notably lower than the 2,955.95 USD price on the GPD Store product page. The 64GB / 4TB tier is set at 2,120 USD, so stepping up from 64GB to 128GB on the crowdfunding side adds roughly 533 USD.
For many handheld buyers, 64GB of unified memory already pairs well with Strix Halo’s performance, and early testing shows the WIN 5 outpacing other Ryzen AI handhelds even at those lower tiers. The 128GB option pushes the device toward users who want maximum headroom for local AI workloads, I do not think that this memory capacity makes any sense for a gaming deivce.
