ASUS ROG celebrating 20th anniversary, ROG CES 2026 event announced

ASUS has now confirmed its dedicated Republic of Gamers showcase for CES 2026 . The newly published ROG landing page promotes a “Dare To Innovate” livestream on January 5 at 3:00 p.m. PST, with parallel times of January 6, 7:00 a.m. in Taipei and midnight in Berlin.

The event is framed as a preview of “new gaming gear, laptops and future technology,” and this time the emphasis is clearly on ROG-branded systems rather than general consumer PCs. Given the tight scheduling around Intel’s CES keynote, where Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake” laptop processors are expected to debut, the ROG show is almost certainly where ASUS will roll out its first Core Ultra 300 based gaming laptops, including Strix and Zephyrus updates.
Intel’s own launch is set for January 5 at 3:00 p.m. PST, with ASUS already planning a separate January 6 AI PC event for non-ROG designs, so the ROG stream slots into a dense 36 hour window of laptop announcements.

ASUS also lists “laptops, displays, and motherboards” as headline categories for CES 2026, which points to fresh ROG boards alongside the mobile hardware. Exact products are not confirmed, but timing lines up with AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 9000X3D desktop refresh and Intel’s Arrow Lake-S Refresh Core Ultra 200K Plus series, so new AM5 and LGA-1851 ROG boards targeting parts such as the rumored Ryzen 7 9850X3D and desktop Core Ultra K models would be a logical fit. Displays and other peripherals are also part of the program, continuing the pattern from previous ROG CES launches that paired new gaming laptops with OLED monitors, routers, and accessories.
This ROG launch runs alongside the already announced ASUS CES 2026 keynote focused on “Ubiquitous AI. Incredible Possibilities.”, scheduled for January 6 at 9:00 a.m. PST and centered on mainstream AI laptops and Copilot style features.
