Intel reportedly working on 300W graphics card, shipping manifests show

Intel 300W desktop GPU surfaces in shipping data, possible Arc B770

New customs listings suggest Intel is preparing a much higher-power GPU board. The entries describe an R&D shipment of “ N38341-001 TASDK 300W GPU BRKT 0.8, ” labeled as a 300W GPU bracket and shipped between India and Taiwan. Similar descriptions appear multiple times through early September and October, which points to a hardware part rather than a one-off typo. The style of the code matches earlier Intel GPU hardware entries, including the M19826-306 code used on the Arc B580 Limited Edition PCB.

A 300W bracket would sit well above Intel’s current gaming cards. The Arc A770 16 GB has a 225W total board power rating, with the A750 sharing the same figure.) On the Battlemage side, Arc B580 comes with a 190W TBP , while the cheaper B570 is rated around 150W. A bracket designed for 300W suggests Intel is at least testing a much larger desktop die with headroom to spare.

That aligns with ongoing rumors around a higher-end Arc B770 based on a bigger Battlemage GPU, commonly referred to as BMG-G31. Linux Mesa driver updates already list new Battlemage PCI IDs that watchers tie to a B770-class card. Separate leaks from Computex briefings and partner channels claim the board is still planned for late-2025. The new 300W hardware part would fit that timeline as Intel refines reference designs.

Unofficial specs point to 32 Xe2 cores, a 256-bit memory bus and 16 GB of GDDR6-class memory, a clear step up from the 20-Xe2, 192-bit Arc B580. Performance rumors place such a card somewhere around GeForce RTX 4070 territory, depending on final clocks and drivers.None of this confirms that Arc B770 will reach retail shelves, but the appearance of a dedicated 300W GPU bracket alongside earlier B770 packaging leaks suggests Intel is still building and moving high-power Battlemage boards, at least for internal testing.

It’s worth noting that 300W won’t be the highest power config for Battlemage GPUs. The dual Arc Pro B60 has 400W default power, however it is basically one board with two 200W GPUs stitched together.
