Gigabyte has RX 9000 GPU cashback, effectively lowers price for man models below MSRP
Gigabyte has launched a new promotion for its AORUS and GAMING graphics cards and other components. It’s a cashback promotion aimed at European customers with primary focus on the Radeon RX 9000 series.
The company announced that their flagship Radeon RX 9070 XT AORUS ELITE GPU will be eligible for €70 cashback. Their Radeon RX 9070 (XT) GAMING and GAMING ICE models can claim €60 cashback, and non-XT model €50. For Radeon RX 9060 XT models, the amount varies depending on the memory configuration, up to €40 for 16 GB models and €30 for 8 GB models.

If we look at current pricing, which seems to match participating retailers (mostly), then we can assume that gamers can now buy some RX 9000 cards below MSRP. For instance, RX 9070 XT models, which retail at €609 (listed at this price by participating NBB), will now technically have a price of €549, which is €70 below the original MSRP (launch price). Note that exchange rates have changed since January, so it’s not a perfect like-for-like comparison, but it is still below MSRP.
