Biwin’s CL100 Mini SSD: The Coin-Sized SSD That Starts Retailing For $85

Biwin, a supplier of SSDs, DRAM, and memory cards, has just unveiled the CL100 Mini SSD, a coin-sized Solid-State Drive that punches well above its weight.

. Now, however, Biwin has launch the SSD as a standalone consumer product.

The Biwin CL100 Mini SSD features high-tech specs, including:

PCIe 4×2 interface and NVMe 1.4 protocol

  1. Delivers impressive read speeds of up to 3700 MB/s and write speeds of up to 3400 MB/s.
  2. These speeds are substantially higher than those of microSD Express cards, which top out at ~985MB/s.
  3. Ideal for tasks like AI model training, 4K video editing, or running demanding applications.

LGA packaging technology

  1. The Biwin CL100 uses advanced LGA packaging technology, which integrates the controller and flash memory modules into an ultra-compact form factor.
  2. Dimensions of 15.0 mm × 17.0 mm × 1.4 mm.
  3. Its size is equivalent to a small coin or a microSD card.
