ASUS to present new motherboards and laptops at CES 2026
Panther Lake and Ryzen 9000X3D focus?
ASUS has now confirmed its CES 2026 press event planned for January 5. We already reported on the date, but now the company is providing more details in regard to what will actually be presented there.
The Republic of Gamers event called “ROG – Dare to Innovate” is a virtual launch event. Meaning there likely won’t be a live stream, rather a prerecorded video posted on January 5, 2026 at 15:00 PST (23:00 GMT) on YouTube. What’s important is that the show will mark the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand and focus on new gaming desktops, laptops, motherboards and peripherals.
ASUS confirms that the lineup will include the latest ROG Strix and Crosshair gaming motherboards, new ROG Zephyrus laptops and updated ROG gaming displays. The company also teases new cooling designs and systems aimed at higher performance and more demanding gaming workloads.
This year’s lineup introduces a fresh generation of innovations throughout the ROG portfolio, including next-level gaming systems, revolutionary cooling solutions, and displays that offer breathtaking clarity and immersive experiences. Attendees can look forward to world-first technologies and imaginative engineering in motherboards, laptops, desktops, and gaming gear—including the latest ROG Strix and Crosshair gaming motherboards, Zephyrus laptop series, and ROG gaming displays, designed for performance, precision, and style.
We can only speculate what will be presented, but I wouldn’t count only on new products, rather a showcase of what was recently released. However, we do know that both AMD and Intel are releasing new mobile chips (Ryzen 400 “Gorgon Point” and Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake), although in case of AMD chips I wouldn’t really call them new, since they are rebadged but slightly different chips from the Strix Point series.
New ROG laptops are nothing new at CES, it’s been an annual theme at this point. There are no new mobile GPUs this time however, and AMD has no plan to launch RDNA4 for laptops, so it will basically be the GeForce RTX 50 laptop launch in case of ROG systems, possibly something with Strix Halo.
If you are attending CES 2026, the showroom will be open for hands-on demos on January 5 (10:00–17:30 PST) and January 6–8 (09:00–17:30 PST).
