EK launches single-slot EK-Pro water block for ZOTAC RTX 5090 SOLID
EK has added a new EK-Pro full-cover GPU block made for the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 SOLID and SOLID OC. The headline feature is thickness, since the block is built around a single-slot, rack-friendly form factor.
The EK-Pro GPU Zotac RTX 5090 is a full-length block that cools the GPU, VRAM, and VRM. EK lists an Open Split-Flow cooling engine, and the specs call out 264 x 124 x 20 mm plus a 45-degree terminal with dual G1/4 ports for dense loop routing.

What stands out is the target GPU. EK-Pro is usually where EK groups workstation and server parts, and this block sits alongside items like RTX 6000 blocks on the same Pro shelves. Y et this one is for a consumer RTX 5090 card , and specifically ZOTAC’s SOLID line, which ships with a 3.5-slot air cooler. That said, the single-slot block effectively trades that 3.5-slot thickness for a 20 mm water-cooled package.
This arrives after EK’s 2024 controversy cycle that was pushed into the spotlight by Gamers Nexus , followed by wider reporting and company statements about delayed payments and internal issues. In that context, the Zotac RTX 5090 EK-Pro block looks like a focused, stripped-back “get it into a rack” product, with stainless-steel construction and manifold-ready port placement doing most of the talking.
EK lists the block at €319.95 on its store, so not much more expensive than €300 for the standard dual-slot waterblocks for other RTX 5090 cards.
