During The Game Awards 2025, KOEI TECMO America and developer Team NINJA announced that the new demo for their upcoming dark samurai action RPG, Nioh 3, will be released Jan. 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam. In addition, as showcased in the action-packed trailer, new exclusive early purchase bonuses have also been revealed ahead of the game's release on Feb. 6, 2026.

Before transcending through time to save Japan, players will be able to sharpen their blades in the new demo in solo or online multiplayer for up to three players. After completing the demo, fans will be able to carry over their save data to the final game and continue their journey to become Shogun. More details about the new demo will be released at a later date.
