MSI Claw A8 with Ryzen Z2 Extreme finally listed in US at $1149

MSI Claw A8 shows up on Newegg for $1,149, still out of stock

MSI’s Claw A8 (AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme) has appeared on Newegg, which is the clearest sign yet that the handheld is headed for the US retail channel. We first spotted the listing last week and waited for it to go live, but the product is still marked out of stock.

Newegg lists the handheld at $1,149 and identifies it as the Claw A8 BZ2EM-070US.

The page also repeats key configuration details, including an 8-inch 1920×1200 120 Hz display, 24 GB LPDDR5X memory, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD, plus Wi-Fi 7 and Windows 11. MSI’s own specs also list the AMD Radeon 890M iGPU and a VRR panel.

This US listing lands months after the Claw A8 began rolling out in Asia. The handheld started shipping in China in July, but MSI has not provided a US on-sale date. We contacted MSI to ask when it plans to start selling the Claw A8 in the US, and the company declined to comment.
