Update December 15, 2025 10:35am ET : Spotify says the outage is fixed.

If Spotify is down for you this morning, you’re not alone. The streaming music service has a bit of the Monday blues. Spotify has that it is aware of problem affecting the service today and is investigating.

Reports aggregated by show a major spike in Spotify complaints shortly after 9am ET/6am PT on Monday. they are unable to load Spotify, browse their library, play music and podcasts, and more. The outage appears to be widespread, though not everyone is affected.

Spotify hasn’t shared any details on when it expects the outage to be fixed. “We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out,” Spotify says.
