AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 “Gorgon Point” 6-core CPU leaks out, features Radeon 840M iGPU

More Ryzen 400 SKUs leaking

This SKU has only four cores.

A Geekbench result has revealed a new SKU in the AMD Ryzen 400 series, codenamed “Gorgon Point”. It is a set of refreshed Strix Point and Krackan Point SKUs with higher clocks, and sometimes higher core counts and graphics. The new series is expected to be a minor update. The flagship HX 470 SKU is listed with up to 12 cores (Zen 5 and Zen 5c) and a Radeon 890M GPU.

What changes are the clocks. For example, the HX 470 boost clock is listed at 5.25 GHz (+150 MHz), and the GPU is 200 MHz faster (up to 3.1 GHz). All Ryzen 400 series SKUs should also feature a faster XDNA 2 neural processor rated at 55 TOPS. However, not all SKUs will get a speed boost.

The list of new (and recycled) SKUs is growing, and another Ryzen AI 7 processor has appeared: the 445. This SKU has no direct predecessor, but it is likely positioned to replace the Ryzen AI 5 340. The 445 keeps the same core count, but the core layout appears to have changed from 3+3 to 2+4. The iGPU also appears unchanged (Radeon 840M).

Leaked AMD Ryzen 400 spec list

The Geekbench entry does not confirm CPU or GPU clocks. Looking at the leaked spec sheet from May, there is no clear match for this configuration. The only Ryzen AI 7 SKUs listed there were 8-core variants, while this one appears to be a 6-core part.
