Fortnite NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup lands December 21, with RTX 5080 prizes and an in-game reward
NVIDIA has announced the Fortnite NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup, a solo Battle Royale tournament hosted by Epic Games and set for December 21. The event will award more than $100,000 in prizes across regions.
Top players in each region will also receive one of twelve MSI Gaming Trio White GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards. These are not full custom card designs. They are standard MSI Gaming Trio White RTX 5080 models that come as a special version with a Fortnite themed backplate.

NVIDIA also says any player who scores at least 8 points will get an in game cosmetic reward, the Rust Bucket Back Bling.
To queue for the tournament, players must have reached Gold Rank or higher in Battle Royale Ranked, Zero Build Ranked, or Reload Ranked in their server region by the time the event starts (with the session window shown in game).
