Cloud Hypervisor 50.0 adds QCOW2 compression support using Zlib and Zstd. This Cloud Hypervisor update also brings better live migration performance thanks to an optimized dirty bitmap maintenance implementation.
Cloud Hypervisor 50.0 also adds a configurable option whether nested virtualization is supported for guests on x86_64 hosts with either Linux KVM or Microsoft MSHV. By default Cloud Hypervisor allows nested virtualization.
This release is rounded out by developer improvements, live disk resizing for raw images, improved file-level locking, better logging, and various fixes.
