Lenovo ThinkPad Rollable XD to be unveiled at CES 2026, screen

Lenovo ThinkPad Rollable XD concept could debut at CES 2026

Transparent or dual-sided display?

Lenovo may be preparing another rollable OLED laptop concept for CES 2026. Windows Latest reports the device will be called the ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept , and it uses a vertically expanding panel that grows from 13.3 inches to 16 inches .

The hook is the lid. Windows Latest says Lenovo is pairing the flexible OLED with a transparent Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back cover, developed with Corning, so part of the screen remains visible from the outside when the panel is rolled inward. Lenovo reportedly describes it as a “world-facing display” plus an expanding user-facing screen.

This would sit alongside Lenovo’s existing rollable ThinkBook concept-turned-product. The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable expands vertically as well, but Lenovo markets it as a 14-inch system that extends to 16.7 inches, and it currently lists at $3,299 on Lenovo’s US site.

Windows Latest also claims the exposed outer portion can show items like an AI chatbot UI and calendar alerts, and that the device supports touch and swipe gestures plus voice controls for mode switching and app launching. It is also said to include AI features like live translation and a voice assistant, with Windows 11 preinstalled.

On reliability, Windows Latest has a recent pattern of publishing Lenovo CES-related material early. This month it posted separate exclusives on the Legion Pro Rollable gaming laptop (horizontal expansion into an ultrawide layout) and a Legion Go 2 SteamOS variant, and other outlets have since echoed those reports.
