GPU Tweak 3 stable released

ASUS GPU Tweak III hit a rough patch in early December, after some users reported the app would not launch once they installed NVIDIA’s GeForce 591.44 driver. ASUS pushed out a quick beta build (v2.0.6.0) aimed at restoring driver compatibility, after which more user reports still pointed to instability on some systems.
A stable update is now out. GPU Tweak III v2.0.7.3 is listed as updated on December 19, 2025, and it adds new FPS stability readouts, 1% low and 0.1% low, both in the on-screen display and in logged data. It also fixes a bug that prevented moving some points on a custom fan curve, and it includes updates meant to keep pace with newer NVIDIA drivers.

This update introduces new FPS stability metrics 1% low and 0.1% low available both in the OSD and in logged data, giving users deeper insight into real-time performance. It also fixes an issue affecting the adjustability of specific positions on the custom fan curve.
GPU Tweak III is ASUS’s Windows utility for GPU tuning and monitoring. It lets you adjust clocks, power and voltage targets, and fan behavior, while also providing an overlay, logging, and profile-based switching for different games or workloads. It works across AMD and NVIDIA desktop GPUs, and it is not limited to ASUS-branded cards.
Where it gets more specialized is ROG Matrix and ROG Astral, since ASUS exposes extra hardware features through GPU Tweak III that you do not get in a standard driver control panel. That includes Power Detector+ alerts tied to the 16-pin power connector, plus telemetry-style views like Thermal Map, and sag or tilt monitoring (listed as an equipment installation check or “Level Sense” depending on the card and update).
