MSI launches Infinite E1 desktop in China with Core i5-13400EF and RTX 3050
MSI has listed a new Infinite E1 prebuilt desktop in China. This is an ultra-budget prebuilt that is hard to recommend for gaming. In these uncertain times, this PC sacrifices the latest hardware for an older generation, which brings the price down a lot.
Starting with the CPU. This system uses Intel’s Core i5-13400EF, where the “E” stands for Embedded . Specs are close to the consumer Core i5-13400F: 10 cores (6P + 4E) and 16 threads, up to 4.6GHz boost, 65W TDP, and 20MB L3 cache. The trade-off is lower base clocks (P-cores 2.4GHz vs 2.5GHz, E-cores 1.5GHz vs 1.8GHz).

Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 , which, as we all know, is not a gaming monster. This GPU targets light gaming and entry-level 1080p settings. What’s also interesting is that this is the old LGA-1700 platform, MSI chose older DDR4 memory for this otherwise new system. The system with 16GB DDR4-3200 and a 512GB SSD.
Other listed parts include an MSI PRO H610M motherboard, a 500W 80 PLUS Gold PSU, a 4-heatpipe air cooler, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. The entire PC costs about $730 after conversion and after national subsidies are applied. This is not a system we will see on the global market, but it shows a trend of selling two-year-old hardware as “new.”
