Biwin has high-capacity memory launching at CES 2026, no mention of the price
The main announcement is the Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition DW100 RGB DDR5 192GB kit , using 48GB x4 at DDR5-6000 CL28. Announcing capacity is a bit awkward because the price is the real question, and Biwin did not share MSRP or availability. Biwin says the kit is tuned for AMD platforms and validated with boards from ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI.
On the storage side, Biwin is showing the Black Opal X570 PRO PCIe Gen5 SSD , rated up to 14,000 MB/s read and 13,000 MB/s write on a PCIe 5.0 x4 link. Biwin says it uses a 6nm controller with up to eight NAND channels and an independent DRAM cache up to 8GB, with up to 2,000K IOPS random read. The drive is listed in capacities up to 8TB, and Biwin mentions a multi-layer graphene thermal pad for sustained workloads across Intel and AMD systems.

Biwin also highlights two removable media products. The Amber CB500 CFexpress 4.0 Type B card is listed at up to 3,750 MB/s read and 3,500 MB/s write, and Biwin says it meets VPG800 for sustained 800 MB/s writes. The Amber ME300 microSD Express card is rated up to 900 MB/s read and 800 MB/s write, with backward support for UHS-I devices.
I wondered how much we are going to hear about the new memory and storage products at CES 2026 and it appears that these companies are not changing their plans. The question is how many of these products are ever going to see the market at a reasonable price. Unless I misread and this is for CES 2027…
