DLSS Swapper v1.2.2.0 adds Ray Reconstruction preset controls and wider launcher support

DLSS Swapper has been updated to v1.2.2.0. The release adds support for DLSS Ray Reconstruction presets and expands game launching beyond Steam. Ray Reconstruction presets can now be set from inside the app. There is a known issue where presets can get reset by the NVIDIA app or by some games, and the maintainer says NVIDIA is aware of it.
The update also adds early support for EA App libraries. Cover art may not auto-load there, so DLSS Swapper can fall back to the game executable icon. You can also add custom covers. You can now launch Epic Games Store, EA App, and Xbox App titles directly from DLSS Swapper. Steam launching support remains in place.

If you have not used it before , DLSS Swapper is an open-source utility that downloads and swaps upscaler DLLs per game. It is not limited to DLSS, since it can also manage A MD FSR and Intel XeSS versions. That makes the name easy to misread if you expect it to be NVIDIA-only.
DLSS Swapper is also different from the driver-level overrides in the NVIDIA app. Those aim to apply newer DLSS behavior without replacing files inside game folders, while DLSS Swapper works by swapping the actual libraries a game loads.
Version v1.2.3 is expected to shift focus to AMD’s Redstone stack . That includes work tied to FSR 4 and AMD’s Ray Regeneration feature . If you want to track what is planned, in progress, or done, the project board is listed under the Projects tab on the DLSS Swapper repository.
