Cooler Master launches PCIe 5.0 vertical GPU mount kit for about $70 in China

Cooler Master releases Vertical Mount Kit V3 with PCIe 5.0 riser cable

Cooler Master already offers an ARGB version of its VGA holder, but it has one major disadvantage: it does not support PCIe 5.0 specs. The new holder released in China does support this standard.

The kit is designed for vertical GPU mounting in standard cases. Cooler Master says it supports ATX and mATX builds, and the spec sheet also lists E-ATX support. The riser cable included in the box is a PCIe 5.0 x16 model with a 165mm length.

The bracket uses a modular layout. Cooler Master says you can switch from ATX to mATX mode by removing part of the bracket. The company also highlights a tool-free installation approach, with no screwdriver required for setup.

Cooler Master says the mount can slide left and right, and it can also shift the card position forward and backward. The listed adjustment range is up to 65mm side-to-side and up to 30mm front-to-back.

There are also fitment limits. The spec lists a 49cm GPU length limit, a 190mm CPU cooler height limit, and a requirement for at least four PCI slots on the case. The spec sheet also notes support for up to 3-slot GPU thickness.

The kit is listed on JD.com in black and white color options, both priced at 499 RMB ( around 70 USD ). Black and white editions are available at the same price.
