Sapphire confirms RX 9070 XT “PhantomLink” in titanium and white, plus matching X870E boards
Sapphire has announced the NITRO+ RX 9070 XT PhantomLink in two color options, a titanium model and a white “Aurora” edition, with a focus on hidden GPU power delivery through a rear connector.
PhantomLink is Sapphire’s take on the ASUS BTF-style GC-HPWR connecto r. The idea is simple: compatible boards feed power to the GPU through a header near the main PCIe slot, so you do not need a visible GPU power cable across the front of the case. The GC-HPWR module is removable, and the card can still be powered through a standard 12V-2×6 connector when you are not using a PhantomLink-capable motherboard.

Sapphire also posted details for two PhantomLink motherboards based on the AM5 X870E chipset: a white NITRO+ Aurora X870EA PhantomLink PE and a titanium NITRO+ X870EA PhantomLink. Prior coverage around Computex 2025 focused on the PhantomLink concept and early board previews, but this China-side announcement makes it clear the white theme is not just for the GPU, it extends to the motherboard lineup too.

Both boards are built around the same PhantomLink idea, pairing a GC-HPWR header near the PCIe slot with a standard 12V-2×6 feed on the motherboard. Expect the usual high-end checklist as well, including USB4 and Wi-Fi 7, plus PCIe 5.0 support for graphics and storage.

For availability, Sapphire is calling these “now available” in its announcement messaging, and this matches the company’s habit of putting out product posts in China before a wider global rollout. I have not found any listing on Sapphire’s page or Sapphire’s official store yet, though. If Sapphire follows the same playbook as past launches, a global marketing post could land later today, or the company could hold the bigger push for CES 2026.
