NITRO+ RX 9070 GPU with hidden power connector launches in China starting from $828
Sapphire has launched the NITRO+ RX 9070 XT PhantomLink, a new variant of its RX 9070 XT that adds a rear power interface and comes in two color options. The lineup includes a titanium version and a white “Polar Aurora” special edition. This isn’t the first time Sapphire launched a white NITRO GPU, but the first time it is part of the original series. The previous models included NITRO+ PURE (RX 6950XT), Sapphire has since moved PURE series into separate product line.

PhantomLink is Sapphire’s rear-mounted power design based on the ASUS BTF 2.5 concept , aimed at keeping the main power cable out of sight. The PhantomLink interface is removable and supports either 12V-2×6 or GC-HPWR . Sapphire also adds a “ PWR CONFLICT ” indicator LED that lights up if both power methods are connected at the same time, which the company says will prevent the card from operating normally.

Specs shown by Sapphire include 4096 stream processors, a 2,520 to 3,060 MHz core clock range, and 64MB of Infinity Cache. This is the same clock speed as original NITRO+ model. Memory is listed as 16GB GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus at 20 Gbps. Display outputs are 2x HDMI and 2x DisplayPort 2.1, with a 12V-2×6 power connector and an 850W recommended PSU. Dimensions are 330 x 141.25 x 64.18 mm.

Pricing is set at 5,799 RMB ($828) for the titanium model and 5,999 RMB ($856) for the white model. Sapphire also lists the standard NITRO+ RX 9070 XT at 5,499 RMB ($785).
