Minisforum DEG2 costs $239, has Thunderbolt 5, OCuLink and M.2 slot
Premium eGPU dock, but bring your own power supply.
MINISFORUM has now listed the DEG2 OCuLink eGPU Dock on its US store. DEG2 is built around dual host links: OCuLink (PCIe 4.0 x4) rated at up to 64 Gbps, and Thunderbolt 5 rated at up to 80 Gbps. MINISFORUM also lists dual Thunderbolt 5 ports on the back, with up to 140W and 30W power delivery depending on the port, plus a 2.5GbE LAN port and USB 3.2.

Like the earlier DEG1, this is a dock that expects you to bring your own desktop GPU and power supply, but DEG2 adds Thunderbolt 5 for systems that do not have OCuLink. The rear layout shown by MINISFORUM includes a PCIe x16 slot, an M.2 2280 slot, and ATX 24-pin + 8-pin power inputs, with support for ATX and SFX PSUs.

MINISFORUM lists the chassis size as 270 x 175 x 41 mm, and the box contents include an OCuLink cable, a Type-C cable, an SSD heatsink, a GPU holder, screws, and a manual. The store header also warns that the Christmas Sale is ending soon and mentions possible shipment delays for orders from Dec 25.

The dock is priced at $239 during the current promotion, with a listed regular price of $299, and the page currently shows it as sold out so I guess it’s not really ‘available’.
