AOOSTAR offers a 16-core Mini-ITX board with full PCIe 5.0 support, vapor-chamber cooling at $749

AOOSTAR has put its TA95X3D motherboard with a soldered AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D on sale for $749 on its own store. This CPU is a 16-core, 32-thread “Fire Range” mobile X3D chip and mount it on a desktop board. AMD rates the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D at up to 5.4 GHz boost, with 16 cores and 32 threads.
For builders, the appeal is the platform I/O you normally want from a desktop setup. AOOSTAR lists a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for a GPU, plus two PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots and four SATA ports. Memory support is shown as DDR5-5600, with an EXPO overclocking note that mentions up to DDR5-6000 , which usually depends on BIOS maturity and the kit you use.

The main drawback is that the CPU is soldered, so there is no upgrade path beyond swapping the whole board. Memory tuning may top out around DDR5-6000 in practice, and smaller vendors often ship fewer BIOS updates than the big motherboard brands. Even the networking specs look inconsistent across listings, with AOOSTAR showing a single 5GbE port while some coverage mentions dual 10GbE.

AOOSTAR’s global store currently lists $749. Either way, it targets people who would otherwise buy a desktop X3D CPU plus a board, where the combined cost can climb fast once you pick a feature-complete model.
