ASRock to launch 27-inch Taichi WOLED and QD-OLED monitors at CES 2026

ASRock to offer both Taichi OLED and Phantom Gaming OLED monitors

ASRock is preparing a new OLED gaming monitor lineup for CES 2026, with two families: Phantom Gaming and a new Taichi series.

The Taichi OLED range is built around 27-inch panels, spanning WOLED and QD-OLED options in 1440p and 4K. ASRock lists up to 540Hz refresh rates on select models, plus Dual Mode switching, Delta E < 2, and 99% DCI-P3 coverage. The company also calls out VESA DisplayHDR with True Black 500 on supported models, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Some versions add USB Type-C with DP Alt Mode and up to 65W power delivery.

WOLED and QD-OLED are both OLED, but they use different ways to produce color. WOLED uses a white OLED light source with color filters, which can help with uniformity and tends to be common in 27-inch gaming panels. QD-OLED uses a blue OLED light source with a quantum dot layer to convert light into red and green, which often improves color volume and can look brighter in saturated colors, but behavior can vary by panel generation and coating.

The displayed models of the Taichi series, including TCO27QX, TCO27QXA, TCO27USA, and TCO27USA-W, offer 27-inch WOLED and QD-OLED panels with 2K and 4K resolutions, up to 540Hz refresh rates, Dual Mode switching, VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black certification, Delta E < 2 color accuracy, and signature Taichi Lighting for flagship-level performance.

Phantom Gaming is also getting new OLED entries, including PGO27QSA and PGO27QSA-W, listed as 1440p 240Hz QD-OLED models. ASRock says select monitors use fully ergonomic stands with ±90° pivot for easier portrait use.

Taichi branding is already familiar from ASRock motherboards, but the company has not shown Taichi monitors before. This makes the Taichi OLED models the new top-tier displays in ASRock’s monitor stack, at least on paper. Pricing and availability were not announced yet.
