AOC AGON PRO AGP277KX announced with Dual 5K 165Hz and 2K 330Hz modes, 1000Hz monitor also teased

AOC will have a high-end 5K gaming monitor soon

AOC has posted a teaser video for its AGON PRO AGP277KX monitor. The company says sales should start in January 2026. Previous reports claim the AGP277KX uses BOE “Ultra Fast IPS” panel tech. It can switch between 5120×2880 at 165Hz and 2560×1440 at 330Hz.

AOC lists a 0.3ms response time, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and deltaE under 1. The monitor also supports STW full viewing angle compensation to reduce color shift off axis.

Ports include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and USB-C. This means that this monitor has better specs than the ASUS ROG STRIX XG72JCG which is limited to DisplayPort 1.4 and otherwise offers identical specs.

Chinese media report that another model, the AGON PRO AGP277QK, is expected in January with QHD 500Hz and HD 1000Hz modes.
