ACEMAGIC teases NES-inspired Retro X5 Mini-PC with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU

ACEMAGIC to launch AMD Strix Point powered retro PC

ACEMAGIC has posted a teaser for a “Retro X5” mini PC, leaning hard into pixel art and classic console styling. The company calls it a compact system “coming soon,” built around the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 from AMD.

AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is a Strix Point part with a 12-core, 24-thread layout (Zen 5 plus Zen 5c), paired with Radeon 890M integrated graphics (RDNA 3.5, 16 CUs).

One thing I wanted to note is that the teaser itself looks AI-generated, visible especially in text. That said, I would treat the announcement as a placeholder until ACEMAGIC shows real product photos, ports, and full specs, because the final design could change.

The timing also puts this in the same retro mini-PC lane that AYANEO has been pushing with its own nostalgic hardware and branding. This looks more like a direct design clone than a loose retro reference, though, and that raises an obvious question about how Nintendo will view it if the shell and styling stay this close.

I’m not sure if AYANEO has confirmed its presence at CES 2026, but if I were to aim for a product announcement, it would likely be around that period, so expect more news in the coming week.
