MSI updates 32-inch 4K QD-OLED lineup with “DarkArmor” and Uniform Luminance

In a new press release MSI introduced two new 32-inch 4K QD-OLED gaming monitors: the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24. Both models use a 3rd-gen 5-layer Tandem OLED panel with EL Gen 3 technology.
MSI says both displays add a new DarkArmor film that increases light absorption to reduce the purple or reddish tint some QD-OLED panels can show under room lighting. The company claims up to a 40% improvement in black levels, plus a surface hardness change from 2H to 3H for 2.5x better scratch resistance. MSI is also adding Uniform Luminance, which lets you tune the HDR brightness curve based on window size so brightness changes feel less abrupt across different content. Sounds a lot like ASUS BlackShield.

The MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 is the higher-tier option, with an AI Care Sensor designed for panel protection. MSI describes it as an NPU-based IC that runs real-time human detection and adjusts power states or protection routines based on whether the user is present. So yes, yet another feature borrowed from ASUS who already have such a sensor.

Both models are listed with DisplayHDR True Black 500 . The MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 keeps DarkArmor and Uniform Luminance, but skips the AI Care Sensor, and MSI says more details on its 2026 QD-OLED monitors will follow, most likely around CES 2026 coverage.
