MSI teases new MPG TS series with GPU power protection for CES 2026
MSI is teasing two new MPG power supplies: MPG Ai1300TS PCIE5 and MPG Ai1600 PCIE5 . The names currently show up on MSI’s own “Shout Out for MSI” eligible model list, while the standalone product pages are not live yet (it’s where we found the picture below).
Based on the model names, the lineup targets 1300W and 1600W capacity tiers. MSI also labels both units as “PCIE5,” but it has not published a spec sheet for either MPG model so far. From what we can see, the new series will feature at least two 12V-2×6 power connectors:

In its New Year teaser, MSI says it wants to end “invisible problems” and is preparing a PSU feature it calls proactive and instant protection . MSI describes it as a “world-first” protection concept, and the teaser visuals appear to focus on GPU power protection rather than whole-system monitoring.
MSI says the reveal will happen at CES 2026, so expect full details next week.
