EliteBook X G2 has three platforms to choose from
With CES less than a week away, a new report from Windows Latest claims to have HP’s full showcase list for Las Vegas, including laptops and accessories. The outlet says he obtained high-resolution images and product names, even though specs are still missing for many items.
One laptops of the list that stands out is the EliteBook X G2 series . Today’s lineup includes the EliteBook X G1a (AMD) and EliteBook X G1i (Intel), which HP positioned as business-focused AI PCs with enterprise features.

According to the leak, HP will refresh the series with three models: EliteBook X G2a, EliteBook X G2i, and EliteBook X G2q . The naming suggests the same core design offered with AMD and Intel again , plus a Qualcomm variant for the first time in the EliteBook X family. Windows Latest also says the leaked images do not show obvious external differences between the three.

Windows Latest recently reported a separate Lenovo leak that mentioned an unannounced Snapdragon X2 Plus tier, but it’s unclear if HP would use that part in a premium business line like EliteBook X. For now, the leak only confirms the names and the multi-platform approach, with any chip details still in the “likely” category until HP goes official at CES 2026 in Las Vegas this January.
