Intel seems to have listed its top Battlemage graphics card, the Arc B770, which will be equipped with the BMG-G31 GPU.
Intel has confirmed and added its top Battlemage graphics card, the Arc B770, in one of its online GitHub repositories, as spotted by . The listing includes other Arc GPUs such as the B580, A770, A750 & the addition of the B770 gives further hope that Intel is indeed preparing to launch a new discrete variant within its Arc B-Series family.
The Intel Arc B770 would replace the Arc A770 as the new flagship of the Arc discrete product family. The lineup last saw an update more than a year ago with the Arc B580 and Arc B570. The Arc B570 launched at CES 2025 , so if Intel does announce the B770 at CES 2026, this will mark a year since the launch of the gaming graphics card. Intel has launched Pro offerings based on the Battlemage BMG-G21 GPU in the second half of 2025, but gamers have been waiting for a bigger Battlemage GPU for a long time.
As for what we know about the Intel Arc Battlemage BMG-G31 GPU, it is supposedly going to feature four SKUs , and the Device IDs leak seems to align with that much. In terms of specifications, the Arc BMG-G31 GPU "Big Battlemage" is expected to feature up to 32 Xe2 cores, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, and should be a nice upgrade over the Arc A770 if it's priced in the $300-$400 US segment. That should easily compete with NVIDIA's RTX 5060 and AMD's RX 9060 series graphics cards. The card also reportedly features a TDP of 300W .
Intel had more ambitious plans for its Arc Battlemage lineup , but those were ultimately canceled. The Arc Battlemage BMG-G31 GPU, if it launches, will be introduced at a time when Intel has already moved its iGPU architecture to the new Xe3 design, still labeled under the Arc Battlemage family. We do hope to see some GPU action next year, as there are reports that others might delay or even straight out cancel their plans due to the ongoing DRAM shortages .
