Leak points to Intel Arc B770, a bigger Battlemage part

Intel’s long-rumored and long-overdue update to the Battlemage series may be much closer to launch now than it was a few days ago. Intel still does not mention Arc B770 in its marketing materials, but there is plenty of evidence that these GPUs are coming, mainly from official Linux repositories where Intel engineers have confirmed the BMG-G31 GPU is in development. The G31 could be anything though, a gaming, workstation or data-center GPU for all we know.
Whether this GPU will end up in a gaming card is anyone’s guess, but a recent leak from an undisclosed repository may finally confirm what many have been waiting to see. The new card is called Arc B770 , and it is mentioned in the file:

Leaker Haze has not revealed the source, but given his track record, it is likely one of Intel’s official repos. The list is also a bit odd since it does not include B570 or the Arc A3 series from the Alchemist era. This could be tied to software that needs higher-end GPUs, more memory, or something along those lines.
On specs, leaks and rumors keep circling the same rough configuration for BMG-G31, and it looks a lot larger than the G21 die used in current Arc B5x0 cards like the Arc B580. The common claims include around 32 Xe2 cores, a 256-bit memory bus, and 16 GB or more of GDDR6 . Some chatter even puts board power near 300W for higher-binned desktop models. If those specs are close to reality, this is the kind of part that could target 1440p gaming at higher settings, assuming Intel’s drivers are ready.
All eyes are now on Intel’s CES 2026 presentation . It is officially the launch day for Panther Lake (Core Ultra 3 series), but given the circumstances, skipping an Arc B770 announcement would be a bad look for Intel fans.
