MSI announces MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 with 34-inch 360Hz 5th-gen QD-OLED panel
MSI has announced the MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36, a 34-inch ultrawide monitor with a 3440 x 1440 QD-OLED panel, a 360Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms (GtG) response time.

The monitor uses a 5-layer Tandem OLED stack and an RGB Stripe sub-pixel layout that MSI says is meant to reduce color fringing and improve text clarity. MSI also lists a peak brightness of 1300 nits, plus VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 18000 certifications.
MSI is also using its DarkArmor Film on this model. The company claims up to 40% deeper blacks under ambient light, a surface hardness increase from 2H to 3H, and 2.5x better scratch resistance.

For panel protection, MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 includes OLED Care 3.0 and an AI Care Sensor. MSI says it uses a CMOS sensor that samples every 0.2 seconds, then runs local NPU processing for human presence detection, with no image storage or transmission.

On the hardware side, MSI lists HDMI 2.1 support for up to 4K 120Hz with VRR and ALLM, plus USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 98W power delivery, and a built-in KVM. MSI also says the new flat base reduces the stand footprint by up to 62%, and it lists a 3-year burn-in warranty.
