ASUS launches ROG Swift 4th Gen Tandem OLED PG27UCWM and QD-OLED PG34WCDN monitors

ASUS reveals two ROG Swift OLED monitors for CES 2026: PG34WCDN and PG27UCWM

ASUS is expanding its ROG Swift OLED lineup ahead of CES 2026 with two new models: the 34-inch ROG Swift PG34WCDN and the 27-inch ROG Swift PG27UCWM. One targets ultrawide high-refresh gaming with Samsung Display QD-OLED, while the other pairs a 27-inch 4K panel with a dual-mode refresh option.

The PG34WCDN uses Samsung Display’s latest QD-OLED panel tech with a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 1800R curve. ASUS lists a 0.03 ms G2G response time, 10-bit color, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and factory calibration with Delta E <2.

This panel also switches to an RGB-stripe sub-pixel layout (Samsung calls it “V-stripe”) to reduce color fringing and improve text clarity. ASUS also brands a panel-level coating as “BlackShield Film,” which is meant to deepen blacks in brighter rooms, reduce the purple tint seen on earlier QD-OLED panels, and improve scratch resistance by moving from 2H to 3H hardness.

PG34WCDN includes 2x HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20), and USB-C with DP Alt Mode plus 90W power delivery, alongside USB-A ports and a headphone jack.

ROG Swift PG27UCWM: 27-inch 4K tandem WOLED with dual-mode 480Hz

The PG27UCWM is built around a 4th-gen tandem WOLED panel from LG Display in a 27-inch class size (26.5-inch). ASUS positions the RGB-stripe sub-pixel layout as the main visual upgrade over earlier RGWB WOLED designs, with the higher pixel density (about 166 PPI) aimed at sharper desktop text and UI edges.

On refresh rate, it runs 240Hz at 4K and supports a dual-mode option that switches to 480Hz at 1080p. ASUS also lists Dolby Vision support alongside standard HDR10.

PG27UCWM is confirmed to include DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) and USB-C with 90W power delivery, and it also carries ASUS OLED Care Pro features with a Neo Proximity Sensor to help reduce burn-in risk.

Pricing has not been shared yet. ASUS is pointing to Q1 2026 availability, with both monitors set to be shown at CES 2026.
