ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E GLACIAL has been revealed, X870E DARK NEO teased

ASUS confirms ROG Crosshair X870E GLACIAL, a Glacier White X870E flagship board

ASUS has confirmed the name of its teased white ROG Crosshair motherboard: ROG Crosshair X870E GLACIAL . The name appears in the CTA’s published list of CES 2026 Innovation Award honorees.

Photos and descriptions point to an E-ATX board with a silver-white shroud that covers more of the PCB than recent Crosshair models. A large 5-inch display sits at the upper-left, and the side-facing I/O layout and Q-DIMM.2 expansion module slot are still present. The CPU socket and DIMM area use metal contacts designed for liquid-cooling setups, and the primary PCIe slot’s quick-release mechanism returns to a button-style design (not the controversial Q-Release Slim mechanism).

The ROG CROSSHAIR X870E GLACIAL reigns supreme as the ultimate flagship in ASUS’ gaming motherboard lineup, meticulously engineered for the AMD Ryzen™ 9000 series. This motherboard is not only primed for the latest AM5 CPUs but also boasts a striking, whitewashed aesthetic that redefines motherboard design. Beyond its visual appeal, the ROG CROSSHAIR X870E GLACIAL delivers unparalleled gaming performance for enthusiasts, leveraging DDR5 and PCIe® 5.0 for maximum throughput. Comprehensive connectivity, including USB4®, ensures future-readiness, while the integrated 5-inch LCD offers real-time system monitoring and personalized flair. Finally, its robust architecture is perfectly poised to accelerate emerging AI applications, making it the definitive choice for forward-thinking professionals.

The CES entry describes support for AMD Ryzen 9000 series , DDR5 , PCIe 5.0 , USB4 , and an integrated 5-inch LCD for monitoring. Separate reports also claim the GLACIAL uses a heavier VRM configuration and a vapor-chamber style M.2 heatsink aimed at PCIe 5.0 SSDs, but ASUS has not published a full spec sheet yet.
